Autogrinder™ knows where in the room it is and what’s around it, thanks to the navigation system that scans the room at a distance and directly in front of the machine. This constant positional awareness assures that the grinder keeps to its planned path. Once the operator has set the grinding area and parameters on the intuitive touch screen, they are free to attend to other activities while Autogrinder™ self-operates.

Equipped with certified safety functions such as a bumper sensor on the shroud, as well as sensors that detect obstacles and restricted hoses or cables. Additional safety features include an under-pressure sensor that detects if the dust extractor is not operating properly. Any faults are instantly communicated to the operator via the machine and remote control.

The machine's user interface has been designed with simplicity in mind. This means that an operator can get up and running with Autogrinder™ after a short introduction. The touch screen located on the machine's handle shows the area that has been scanned by the machine. There, the operator can then define the work area, decide on the starting point, set the grinding pattern and choose the desired overlap in a matter of seconds.
