DXR Series Purchases Now Include Accredited Training from Industry Experts
Every purchase of a DXR 95 demolition robot now includes one complimentary place on TAC Ltd’s remote-controlled crushing and breaking course. For the DXR 145 and DXR 305 models, customers receive two spaces each, providing more operators with access to specialist learning.
Led by TAC Ltd’s experienced instructors, the remote-controlled crushing and breaking course comprises four focused modules:
- Characteristics and types of demolition robots
- Preparing for work
- Working tasks – crushing and breaking
- Shutting down procedures
The course combines classroom-based theory with practical, hands-on exercises using both crusher and hammer attachments. Depending on prior experience, the programme can be completed in just one day, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid upskilling. If contractors require more places than those provided free of charge, TAC Ltd can charge directly at a discounted tier system so all operatives can undertake the training at the same time.
Clear Pathway to Qualifications
Upon completion, operators may register for the relevant NVQ qualification unit and apply for a trainee card. As experience and confidence grow on site, operators can be assessed for the award leading to a skilled CSCS/DSA card, helping them advance their careers in the demolition industry.
Kris Whitehead, Head of Sales for Contractor Direct at Husqvarna Construction UK commented on the new partnership:
“We are delighted to partner with TAC Ltd to deliver NVQ-status training for demolition robot operators. Investing in quality training ensures that both employers and operators benefit from improved skills, confidence, and productivity. We feel that partnering with a registered training entity such as TAC is the ethical direction for the future, driving the industry to professional qualifications and focusing on safety over manufacturer led more traditional familiarisation training.”
Northvale Construction were the first customer to experience the affects of the new partnership. Kennedy Beaton, Contracts Director at Northvale Construction, shared feedback after participating in the first training session:
“The course was extremely valuable for our team. The mix of practical and classroom learning meant our operators felt immediately more confident and capable. It’s great to see investment in proper qualification routes that support both safety and career progression.”
