Side clearance indicator

This smart segment design helps you know exactly when your blade is worn out. The built-in grooves act as a clear wear indicator: as long as the grooves are visible, your blade has the right clearance for smooth, efficient cutting. When the grooves disappear, the blade and core are fully flat, signalling that no side clearance remains and that it’s time to replace the blade.

Life Indicator

A diamond segment has two parts: the diamond layer for cutting and the backing, a diamond-free layer that secures the segment to the steel core. On user-friendly segments, the wear groove ends where the backing begins, making it easy to see and feel when the diamond layer is fully worn out and the blade should be replaced.
