The WS 8 is an entirely new wall saw system for applications where precision and performance are critical. Combining light weight with high power makes the WS 8 easy to handle without compromising performance. The wall saw is easy to move with a specially designed trolley, and the wireless control ensures safe and comfortable operation. The updated remote unit is waterproof and shockproof and has a long battery life. It has a modern, user-friendly interface that fulfils all relevant certifications and regulatory requirements. The new wall saw is a versatile tool for cutting any opening with precision in any building material, including brick and reinforced concrete.
The new PP 8 power pack is specially designed for use with the new wall saw, though it can also run all PRIME™ equipment. It’s sturdily built with a flexible and durable design. The improved RC unit and the heavy-duty connection that handles both 3- and 1-phase power ensure steady operation, while the user-friendly interface and automatic setup reduce complexity. The power pack is water-cooled to ensure a perfect working temperature and features the new X-Halt™ blade brake feature.
X-Halt™ blade brake operation
All the K 7000 cutters include the new X-Halt™ blade brake feature when connected to the PP 8 or updated PP 70 power pack. X-Halt™ is capable of stopping the rotation of the blade in a fraction of a second if abnormal blade speed is detected.
The new K 7000 Chain Flushcut allows for cutting flush to walls, floors or the ceiling, ensuring a smooth surface in door openings. It features the same proven electrical components from the K 7000 Standard, but with the redesigned motor plate, chain tensioner and chain cover, it’s possible to cut flush to a flat surface.
The new PRIME™ range has the power and flexibility to drill up to 600 mm deep for applications like water drains, ventilation or plumbing; cut openings for windows or doors up to 455 mm deep and plunge cut square openings as tiny as 12x12 cm.
