Product description
Float discs/pans are an alternative to float blades. Float discs/pans increase the overall flatness of the concrete slab as they offer a larger footprint on the fresh concrete compared to blades. They are used for floating the concrete surface during the initial stage of the concrete finishing process. This helps remove the humps and valleys on the concrete. Float discs/pans should be used at a lower speed to remove imperfections on the surface and avoid shifting the material away. A 45° pan angle pushes excess concrete downward during floating, while a 90° angle rolls the excess concrete to fill surface valleys. A flat pan requires more power to operate than a curved pan, but provides better floor flatness.
