Husqvarna Soff-Cut® joint protectors are designed to protect intersecting joints from damage during cutting. By placing them in the initial joint before making the intersecting cut, you prevent the joint from collapsing as the Soff-Cut saw passes over it. Joint protectors are available in two different thicknesses, with each thickness represented by a different colour: red or blue.
